Availity – Why Work For Us?

We are talented people, tackling tough problems, transforming healthcare ... together! As the industry’s trusted intermediary, we are building the largest, most valued health information network. Our agile approach, unique ownership structure, and an ongoing investment in our technology stack means we are powerfully poised to simplify information complexity so that meaningful data moves quickly and accurately.

We foster an entrepreneurial spirit. Independence and innovation result in both a stellar reputation as an industry leader and steady company growth. We delight in sharing our success with employees in countless ways—from a fun, collaborative culture and a comprehensive employee benefits program, to our lucrative bonus program and career growth opportunities. All this—and more—means Availity is the place for a career with purpose and a life with balance. At Availity, it’s work and life working together.

Founded in 2001, Availity has grown to become one of the nation’s largest health care information networks. Pros

Company has opportunities for individuals across the the organization to contribute and make a difference in a growing industry and company. There is a positive energy to push for results and high expectations that people will deliver on commitments. I view this as a positive as people encouraged to produce their best work and be innovative in the approach.

Great overall benefits, work-life balance, and nice perks ($300.00 wellness credit, lots of opportunities for community/charity involvement, and frequent fun events).

    Cons

The work is challenging; this isn't the place for those who aren't seeking some challenges. For the right individuals, it's an excellent place to work.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the fun activities. Nice to see our Senior Leaders on Facebook.

    Interview

One Question Phone Screen. (Effectively) Are your willing to relocate at your own expense?

I considered this call to have been a major waste of my time as this could have been more easily accomplished through email which would have avoided the two hours prep time that I invested prior to this unproductive "interview". We didn't need to speak directly for me to inform her that I was unwilling to do this.
