I have been working at Availity full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Company has opportunities for individuals across the the organization to contribute and make a difference in a growing industry and company. There is a positive energy to push for results and high expectations that people will deliver on commitments. I view this as a positive as people encouraged to produce their best work and be innovative in the approach.

Great overall benefits, work-life balance, and nice perks ($300.00 wellness credit, lots of opportunities for community/charity involvement, and frequent fun events).

    Cons

The work is challenging; this isn't the place for those who aren't seeking some challenges. For the right individuals, it's an excellent place to work.

    Product Owner Interview

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Availity in June 2014.

    Interview Details

Initial interview with HR, via telephone and follow telephone interview with hiring manager. The recruiter was very friendly. Did pressure me for salary information. The hiring manager seemed distracted and not very attentive (maybe working remotely), and I must say it was very hard to read if I had a chance for the position or not.

    Interview Questions
    • I was expecting structure, and there really was no strucutured questions. Tell me about yourself and resume review were the highlights. I was also asked what I thought were there key problems and what potential solutions might I suggest. This was awkward as I have never actually worked for them, but did research the company. Available research didnt point out any key problems as if they had I may not have applied for the position.   Answer Question
