Operating through its Avizent trademarked name, The Frank Gates Service Company offers companies a number of workers' compensation and risk financing services. It helps clients manage workers' compensation programs by providing claims processing and settlement services; it also offers alternative risk financing options, such as setting up self-insurance programs and captives (subsidiaries that insure their parents). The company's newest incarnation was formed after the 2007 merger between The Frank Gates Companies and Attenta, a rival claims processor.
