I worked at Axcet HR full-time (more than a year)

    Flexible work/life balance
    Nice office
Great people working there - family atmosphere
Clients are great to work with
    Management open to new ideas
Management supportive of your personal growth
A great place to learn a variety of areas around HR and gain experience

I was in the HR department, delivering the services the sales group sold to the clients. There seemed to be a regular disconnect between what Axcet does for their clients and what sales told the clients we'd be doing. That said, the HR department was a solid group that helped to clear up any disconnect and develop great relationships with the clients. (I guess I just made my "con" a "pro"!)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I loved working there, but management must look at these other reviews online and take an honest, hard look at their sales model/training.

    Application Details

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Axcet HR in February 2013.

    Interview Details

Pretty typical, outside recruiter contacted me, I'd previously turned down a request from the company directly to interview, outside recruiter talked me into going to a face to face. Interview was with HR and VP of Sales (Funny place we live in when HR gets to tell a VP who they can hire or not), pretty standard interview, the VP ran the interview and HR would stumble into the conversation every once in a while and fade away. What I liked was the VP wasn't afraid to tell you about any reservations he had thus giving you an opportunity to speak to those reservations and overcome. From there it went pretty quick, I had a couple phone conversations with the VP and then met the sales reps and they got a chance to interview me. Took a couple weeks and I was hired.
