I have been working at B. Braun Medical full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Very conservative company, but they invest in their employees through training and job security.
They give you a chance to prove yourself and allow you to transfer to a different position to match your skills or career goals.
Solid product offering in a wide variety of healthcare areas. While every company has negatives, working for a private vs public company has many advantages. They are 190 years old so they must be doing something right!
Great international integration. Many opportunities to experience and befriend employees from other countries.
Very good benefits with low contributions..Health, Vision, Dental, Legal, Life Insurance, EAP, Free Gym Membership, Internal onsite health clinic, Massages, Above avg 401(k)......

    Cons

Very slow product evolution. They are always late to come out with the next generation of their existing products which puts them behind the competition. By the time they launch an upgraded product, the pricing and margins have come down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire an outside consultant to review legal and regulatory competency and make changes that will enable the company to compete on an even playing field

    Interview Details

I spoke with a recruiter on campus and then applied online. I got asked to interview which I did in person. I interviewed with an analyst and a manager. The interview was conversational and both were very nice. Asked standard questions and I got an offer about 5 days later.
