    I worked at BBC Worldwide

    Pros

colleagues are really nice and all around solid people. upper management takes the time to say congrats when you close deals (though a lot of management has since left after i left). lots of various departments to help with your various needs if you're in the sales division. flexible hours so long as you get your job done (at least in the LA office)

    Cons

they like to promote from within which is awesome, but they also promote when the people aren't ready to be promoted, so you'll end up with junior members who need to grow into their roles.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to your team when they say certain people aren't ready to be promoted.

    Unscripted Production Interview

    Anonymous Employee
    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at BBC Worldwide in May 2014.

    Interview Details

Had a phone interview with a production manager first to get an overview of the position and see if I was interested. We set up a Skype interview next with her and another production manager. Of one of the managers was late to the Skype interview, so I had to make conversation with the other interviewer because he didn't want to start asking the formal interview questions before his co-worker arrived.

    Interview Questions
    • It was all just basic interview questions, like "Why BBC?" and "What makes you a good fit for the position?" I was also asked to talk about several experiences from my resume.   Answer Question
