Great benefits like pto. Wonderful people. I made a lot friends. Work was balanced. Great agency atmosphere. I really do miss it. When I started the building was new and trendy. I stayed til the end and cried as I walked out.
I was underpaid compared to people in my group and in same position with other people in same in different companies. I had a boss that fought to get me to avoid laying me off. She got me a small raise in 2007
Advice to Management
There is no advice to give. Bbdo Detroit closed a few years ago and when I used to pass it, I would cry. My tip to management is don't promise a client you will work with only them. Move around creative so they get fresh assignments. I believe workin on the same brand or mail piece makes people come up with stale ideas. Most importantly, the CEO should not have pissed off Chryslers cei

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BBDO Detroit (Troy, MI) in June 2008.
They contacted me around 1pm during the day, and the recruiter wanted to schedule the phone interview right away. So instead of scheduling the interview at another time, we agreed to proceed with the interview right then and there. The recruiter just wanted a simple overview of my past experiences and she felt that my experiences and drive matched the expectations of the company. From there we scheduled the one-on-one interview for the very next day. They sat me down with two supervisors, that gave me an overview of their expectations for the position. Then they left it up to me, to prove that my experiences connected with their expectations. I was offered the job later on that day.
