I worked at BBDO full-time (more than 8 years)

its a big agency but the focus is always on putting out smart, quality work. Management is generally receptive to new ideas and dialogue.

Omnicom, the holding company, makes things harder than they have to be sometimes. A lot of weird IT policies that can get annoying when you're just trying to do your job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

BBDO is a great place to work. Most people that leave do so because, quite simply, they don't get raises. Not saying they should be mandatory, or that you should throw money around like it's nothing, but regular reviews and at least the possibility for regular increases would go a long way towards retaining people.

I had an interview with HR at BBDO, and then with 2 account directors two weeks later. HR is essentially impossible to get in touch with, and isn't the best at following up.
