I worked at BDO (Less than a year)

    Pros

Co-workers are very nice and willing to help when needed. I was given a lot of responsibility as an intern and learned a lot. Was offered full-time position at the end of the internship.

    Cons

As a smaller firm, BDO clients are usually smaller less organized companies. Internship program started slow at first, but once I was assigned a client work picked up.

    Advice to Management

Organized the schedule of the internship so that interns have work to do from the first week on. Also make sure interns have the opportunity to be mentored by the professionals at the firm.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BDO (New York, NY) in August 2015.

    Interview

Very straightforward and easy process. First round was a simple phone screening, and at the end of the conversation they invited me back for the in person interview. I met with 4 different people at different times.
