Like many American success stories, BDO's proud past began with the vision of an entrepreneur. Twenty-two-year-old immigrant Maximilian (M.L.) Seidman emerged from a tenement on Manhattan's Lower East Side to open a one-room office on the city's Park Row. With little more than a good idea, personal drive to achieve, and a commitment to hard work, M.L. founded Seidman & Seidman in 1910.

    the working environment is quite good.....the people are very helpful no matter when...the compensation for the interns are competitive...

    Cons

    Compared to big four, it is a relatively medium company, therefore you have less exposure to large companies. And the benefit is not as good as big four

    I applied online. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at BDO USA (San Jose, CA) in April 2015.

    Interview

    I was invited for the office visit without any on-campus interview. I was first talked to 3 different staffs during the morning session. We had lunch afterwards. Then I was interviewed with 2 managers and a partner. It was a really casual conversation. They are very nice. I was comfortable with the whole interview process.
