    Summer Intern Interview

Anonymous Employee  in  San Diego, CA
Anonymous Employee in San Diego, CA
    Application Details

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days - interviewed at BRAIN CORP in March 2013.

    Interview Details

They emailed me after a campus recruiting event. They didn't tell me what job I was applying for until the midnight before the interview. The first round of the interview went well and I'm waiting to take the longer, two-hour technical interview in a few days.

    Interview Questions
    • They asked questions about computer science concepts like OOP (polymorphism, inheritance) and other CS questions I had not learned yet. I mentioned I had taken AI and neuroscience classes so they asked me about those concepts (how the basal ganglia works for reinforcement learning, bayes rule, the basic concept behind expectation maximization, etc). I expect the longer technical interview to be much more rigorous.   Answer Question
