Working for BT looks good on the CV, free broadband/BT Vision and a few other benefits like discount with O2.
The companies management are awful from top to bottom- at the top the management are all accountants who have no idea how to run or lead a sales organisation and the mid to low level managers as a general rule are not in their positions due to ability though to who's 'flavour of the month' and as a result staff members have limited support. Being a salesperson there you constantly feel like you're fighting against the business to try and get anything done - unlike most sales organisation, sales are at the bottom of the pile and that is abundantly clear. They have closed their City office and Hertfordshire office and moved to an old run down telephone exchange at Edgware Road which is completely out of the way and a poor location for business.
Advice to Management
Complete overhaul of senior management needed - let sales people run a sales organisation as accountants aren't best positioned to do this. Cut out the false promises, listen and invest in staff or else the business will continue to underperform.
