I applied online. The process took 4 weeks – interviewed at Babcock International (Rosyth, Scotland (UK)) in May 2015.
I was asked to submit a cover letter and CV. I was thereafter invited to an interview. I asked at the end of my interview about the role and what was meant by 'Commercial Trainee'. This was a question the panel was not able to answer and were very vague about what the prospects for those successful would be. This is also the only company for whom I have had an interview for that have a) not offered to cover any travel expenses (I travelled over 100 miles for this interview and b) did not even phone or email to tell me that I was unsuccessful. The panel members were perfectly polite and friendly but to not do either of those two things I found bizarre for a company as renowned as Babcock.
