    Pros

Team was comprised mainly of very great people. It was a very strong learning environment (through work experience, not through structured learning processes). Employees were expected to have very high standards.

    Cons

Very competitive at times, in ways that were counterproductive to the business. Compensation was frequently opaque.

    Advice to Management

Don't pay too much for stuff; don't get over-leveraged.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at Babcock & Brown (Miami, FL) in April 2008.

    Interview

Gained interview from a personal contact. Initial interview was by telephone with a follow up interview a few days later. Company did a background check and then an offer was made. Negotiated over the offer package for week or so before working things out. I followed this up with a week of training at the head office.
