I have been working at Baker & Hostetler full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Growing office. Realistic culture. Strong leaders who admit law is a tough profession, but also agree that lawyers are human, burnout is real, and life is too short to bill 2400 every year.

    Cons

Very little interaction within the office. Only two floors, but very few of the attorneys on the 11th floor come up to the 12th, and vice versa. People really don't know each other, and few attempts are made to change that.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Baker & Hostetler.

    Interview Details

This was the best interview/hiring process I have experienced to date. Very efficient HR practices and great staff. I went from application to job offer within 3 weeks.

    Reasons for Declining

Accepting would have amounted to a significant pay cut which I was unable to do. I was willing to take a certain amount of a pay cut to work with these great people, but I couldn't accept the offer.
