    I have been working at BancVue full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    The CEO and executive team are passionate about what the company is doing and it shows very quickly. There is an excellent culture throughout the company. It embraces change and is always looking to stay ahead of the competition. My favorite aspect is the work/life balance that has existed for me ever since starting to work here. I take time off whenever I need it and am treated as an adult in this regard. I get my work done, but if I need a day to get some errands taken care of, I take it without any questions being asked.

    Cons

    Consistency from department to department. Allow many departments are great to work in, especially technology, there are a few departments that still run their business in an old non empowered factory line way. These have become fewer as more and more see how efficient empowerment can be.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at BancVue in October 2014.

    Interview Details

    I was contacted by a recruiter on Oct 7 regarding this position. We scheduled an in-person interview at BancVue on Oct 17.

    The initial interview at BancVue was with the Marketing Operations Manager. She was cordial and really hard to read. Several role play questions.

    A week later, I was contacted by the recruiter again to schedule a second interview for Oct 30. That was the final interview with the Executive VP of Operations, another meeting with the Marketing Operations Manager and then a meetup with the team.

    I have never been more disrespected in my professional life than in the interview with the Executive VP of Operations (Venessa).

    She was 10 minutes late to our scheduled 30-minute meeting. As soon as I sat down, she opened her laptop and began typing. I thought she was taking notes at first. Then I realized that she was chatting with someone. THE ENTIRE INTERVIEW. She was not paying attention at all and made it very clear that I was not important at all or worth her time.

    And then about 10-15 minutes into my "interview," the person that she was obviously chatting with (whom she called her "wingman") pulled her out of my interview for another "meeting" that she had. I am not an idiot.

    Then I met again with the Marketing Operations Manager for a few minutes, then the team. The team is extremely nice and I would have loved working with them. It's a shame that the deciding factor was based on the interview with the Exec VP of Ops (she wasn't paying attention, so she obviously just judged me on my looks).

    Received the "no" from the recruiter today, Nov 5. So the process took about a month.
