State of the art hospitals, most in central London. Busy department with lots of good clinical research and academia. Good programmes for trainees. One on a training programme good job security.
As with all NHS Hospitals, resources are limited, clinics over-booked, huge amounts of paperwork and bureaucracy. Poor salary and remuneration.
Advice to Management
There has been a culture of bullying within the trust that really needs to be tackled head on. Culturally things need to change with more emphasise on incentivising and motivating staff at all levels. I would advise encouraging and developing clinicians to take on more formal leadership and managerial roles.
