My career at BDI began in 1988 and continues to this day. Excellent company to work for with outstanding leadership.

I have been working at Bearing Distributors full-time (more than 10 years)

Business culture is to offer ample opportunities for advancement to all employees through constantly evolving training program. Very pleasant work environment with fair wage compensation. BDI has always been and continues to be a company that cultivates dedicated and loyal employees.

Offering flex hours and a "work from home" option to employees would be helpful in attracting new talent. BDI can sometimes be a bit slow and "reactive" rather than PRO active in keeping on top of current business trends thus limiting its employees ability to improve customer service levels.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider setting (higher) standards for wage compensation commensurate with performance and position. Set up a "mentoring" program within the training process so as to utilize veteran employee's knowledge and experience in educating new hires. Our greatest resource is our history and is often overlooked as such.
