POSITION: Lead Software Engineer

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Responsible for the design and development of multi-tiered web applications for an Application Service Provider (ASP).  Perform detailed design of individual components and implement user interface, business logic and database layer.

EFFECTIVE DATE:November 2010

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(those functions actually required to perform the position, the removal of which would fundamentally change the job.)

• Design and develop complex web application components.
• Responsible for translating functional requirements and high-level design of components and modules into a developed and tested, multi-tier solution, including user interface, business logic and database.
• Implement solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform, within an existing application development framework.
• Provide technical leadership to a project team, including mentoring and code reviews.
• Provide support to Solutions Manager, Technical Architect or Technical Managers during systems development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience:
   1. 6 years experience with architectural design of large-scale, highly reliable, and highly available Internet facing applications using Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server and IIS.
   2. 4 years experience developing and leading solution implementations with Microsoft .NET, using a combination of ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.
   3. 6 years advanced experience using SQL Server, including data modeling, TSQL and Stored Procedures.
   4. 6 years HTML, Javascript and CSS for IE and Netscape.
   5. Production experience with ASP.NET application supporting > 500 business users.
   6. Product development experience desirable.
   7. Experience working within an iterative development process desirable.
2. Skills:
   1. Advanced C#
   2. Advanced ASP.NET
   3. Moderate SQL Server
   4. Moderate HTML/Javascript/CSS
   5. Understanding of OOA/OOD

Position:  Product Architect

Description:

As Product Architect, you will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to design innovative solutions to real market problems. You will work closely with product and marketing managers, user interaction designers, and software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Responsibilities:

• Designing user interaction models, workflows and user interfaces
• Integrating internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience
• Creating prototypes and authoring detailed interaction specifications
• Working with user experience researchers to design and observe usability studies
• Translating usability and field research findings into design improvements
• Working with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency
• Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Factors or computer science or related field
• At least 5+ years experience leading large design efforts and coordinating project teams of 4 or more members
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Mastery of user interaction design skills
• Familiarity with field and lab-based usability research methodologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
• Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form 

Position:  Development Intern

Description:

Beeline is seeking multiple interns to work with our development team.  An internship is a temporary, possibly full-time assignment with Beeline.  Our Internship Program is designed to provide us with the opportunity to identify qualified candidates for regular employment, and to provide students with the opportunity to integrate their academic knowledge with work experience. During your time you will develop skills, and gain work experience in your field of study.

This particular internship opportunity will support research and development related to application software development, especially on the Windows platform and web. Successful candidates will work with the following technologies:.NET, C#, C++ and Java, user interface design, web development and database design using SQL/Server, embedded software development (Windows CE, Windows Mobile) and software engineering methodology including documentation, configuration management, and verification/validation.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree OR HIGHER in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering

Knowledge of Objected Orientated Programming

Understanding of SQL

Understanding of .Net
