Ben & Jerry's
I worked at Ben & Jerry's part-time (more than a year)Pros
I loved getting to try all of the ice cream flavors and making milkshakes with combinations of the ice cream. I got to make ice cream cakes by the time that I was done with the job and it was fun to express myself on the cake. I did get to see some famous people who came into the scoop shop that I worked at, so that was a nice bonus.Cons
The main challenge was dealing with the rush that would happen during the day. Some of my coworkers were a bit lazy so cleaning the store at the end of the day would also be a bit difficult.Advice to ManagementAdvice
Maybe I would recommend that there be a little more vertical movement.

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days – interviewed at Ben & Jerry's in July 2014.Interview Details

The quirky company was bought by consumer products giant Unilever in 2000, but it still marches to the beat of its own ice cream scoops on its drums of ice cream. The company sells its colorfully named ice cream, ice-cream novelties, and frozen yogurt ("FroYo") under such monikers as Chunky Monkey, Karamel Sutra, and Cherry Garcia. It also franchises some 750 Ben & Jerry's SCOOP SHOPS...
