    I worked at Berdon

I worked at Berdon for 20 years and have an inside knowledge of many of the partners and especially the firm's leadership team. It is a very impressive group. I also worked 5 years at one of the big four firms. If I were a client I would go to Berdon over Big 4 without any hesitation. If you want to work for a winner you want to work at Berdon. They care deeply about getting things right for the client and take a tremendous amount of pride in their work.

Only A students willing to work hard should apply. Not everyone is cut out to be a Yankee. I have read some negative reviews about the firm. One reviewer said the partners/managers were rude. We used to have a saying. Rude is faster. Not everyone can handle a Berdon tax season. If you get upset that someone comes up to you and asks you a direct question during busy season without first asking how your day is going go work for a Big 4 firm.

I applied through other source – interviewed at Berdon in August 2014.

    Interview Details

First met with HR and Partner. Second visit with another HR person and Manager. Very flexible and willing to meet with me at 8 AM before work. Nice office, recently renovated, although not very big (at least from what I saw).
