    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies in January 2015.

    Interview Details

Applied online and received a call the next day to complete an assessment test which included a typing exam, a math exam, and a proof-reading/writing exam. The following day I got a call back for an in-person interview two weeks later. I had an interview with a hiring manager which went well. They explained what the job entails, gave a background on what the company does, and then asked typical interview questions. There was also a 25 min essay topic.

    Interview Questions
    • Warren Buffett was given $2 million dollars to support a cause/project in South Africa for children with malaria under 5 years old. They give you three different projects to choose from: 1)two tests, one to check for malaria and the other with 80% chance of curing the disease. 2)Provide mosquito tests to prevent the bites. 3)Clean water project. There is no right answer, it is just to showcase your analytic and problem solving skills.   Answer Question
