Friendly staff, easy work, physical, friendly customers, stable job as long as you did the menial tasks that were required of you
Repetition, out of date technology, management seems disillusioned with reality. Cannot progress your career through the company based on skills, work ethic, abilities, training, qualifications or education. Career progression is solely based on how much you can suck up to the management. Work environment designed in such a way that it stifles your ambition and suffocates your dreams, successfully making you a zombie-like drone that carries out menial tasks forever. Management also seemed quite racist to white people and others who were not the same ethnicity as them.
Advice to Management
As a cash & carry assistant I was once asked to make the managers cups of tea because a) they thought lesser of me and b) they didn't "trust white man" with their beverages. You can't tell me that you can read that previous sentence and not cringe. I honestly believe, that on occasion the management thought much too highly of themselves and purposely acted to make the staff feel constantly lesser, with the only manager showing a hint of good character being the assistant manager. Honestly speaking, there are special seats reserved in Gehenna for people like you.
