I have been working at Biola full-time (more than 10 years)

Great co-workers who are inspired by the university's Christian mission and genuinely care about each other; a lot of exciting initiatives; half-day Fridays in the summer; generous benefits (esp. for retirement); fun to interact with college students; beautiful campus; very positive and pleasant environment; supportive of professional development

Can sometimes be slow moving; pay isn't the highest since it is a non-profit (but very comparable for similar organizations); the campus is getting a little tight with the growth of students and employees

    Positive Outlook

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Biola in August 2013.

    Interview Details

I found the position through Biola Classifieds. I sent in my resume by email and received a reply shortly after. It was during summer, and the person interviewing me was very flexible with the fact that I couldn't do an in-person interview (as I did not live locally). He conducted a phone interview, which was somewhat generic and then gave me a "homework" assignment to provide him with sample work for the position.
