I worked at BlackBerry full-time for less than a year

    Pros

It was really an open culture where talking to manager n higher management was easy access. Also people were really helpful. A very good work/life balance.

    Cons

Seems like there were not defined roles and teams were jst doing what they liked without major deliverables.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

you need more focus on what your goals are and making things streamlined might help in long run. Also go with the trend , there is no point playing country music in a western culture party. and yes blackberry phones seems like that. so stop focusing on already achieved targets like battery life and try setting new goals.

I applied in-person. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at BlackBerry in December 2012.

    Interview Details

Held a company interview at a local hotel to recruit for a new project after layoffs at another company. Went there for several different interviews with multiple managers. After that there were more phone conversations, background checks that had to be done, then the offer letter. All of this took a long time because of the different departments and approvals that these new positions had to go through.
