I have been working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Agile Environment - both on the IT application development side and also on the business side
    Open and transparent culture
    Innovative
    Clear strategic vision
    High employee engagement

    Cons

There has been a lot of change over the last two or three years due to an organizational realignment and cultural transformation. Continuing to do a lot of "inspect and adapt" but can be frustrating to some as we get through it. This does at times impact employee morale.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska in January 2010.

    Interview Details

Applied online to posted postion, this was followed by a request to take a typing, ten key, and personality test. Everyone was very friendly, including the guard at front. (Which was a first). The interview was with the Supervisor of the department and a "lead". Interview was about 30 minutes and they went over the postion. The supervisor did not have a lot of skills for interviewing. She talked very quietly and it was hard to intergect with my skills.
