I have been working at Boston Red Sox

    Pros

Management makes sure to show employees how much their dedication is appreciated. Very open and communicative work environment, always kept up to date on changes, company goals, etc. Benefits and perks are great, and culture is very supportive and encouraging.

    Cons

Ideas are welcomed and listened to regularly, but it is VERY difficult to effect change. Pay isn't very competitive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time out among the fans and staff to gain a better understanding of changes that need to be made.

As expected, the more important the job title of the person you're interviewing with, the harder the questions. Expect to interview with several people before being offered a position. The folks in human resources are beyond nice and accommodating. There is no such thing as being overdressed when interviewing with the team. The better you are dressed, the more it says to them that you want the position that you are seeking.

LYou might say this team is now a curse on the other clubs in Major League Baseball. Boston Red Sox Baseball Club operates one of the oldest and most storied sports franchises. Founded as a charter member of the American League in 1901, the team owns seven World Series titles but at one time suffered through an 86-year championship drought popularly attributed to "The Curse of the Bambino." Boston broke The Curse in 2004 and then won its seventh championship three years later. Red Sox fans root for their home team at venerable Fenway Park, the oldest pro baseball stadium... More
