I have been working at Bottom Dollar Food full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Recognition by upper management. If you really put effort into your work, you got noticed. Too bad ALDI just bought the company & is closing all of the stores...... lots of good people going to be out of work... :(

    Cons

Usually, there were very few who actually put in 100% effort, and those few ended up doing most of the workload. A few of the immediate supervisors were very 'laid-back' about their responsibilities, relying on others to take up their slack, then try to take credit for the hard work done by others when the upper management took notice.

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Bottom Dollar Food.

    Interview Details

I applied in the beginning of May and had an interview about a week after applying. The manager that conducted my interview was very nice, knew her job and what she was doing. The interview lasted about 15 to 20 minutes tops.

I was hired part time as a cashier at first. I was okay with the rate of pay at first, then it became an issue and eventually got a raise and a promotion after my first year.
