Continuing Education

Keeping your skills current is essential to providing the best dental care. Dentist and Hygienists have several opportunities throughout the year to participate in continuing education courses. Conducted by dental industry experts, these courses are intended to expand your skills and ensure that you are exposed to the latest dental techniques and products.

Clinical Board

As an affiliated provider, you will always have access to outstanding clinical leaders. Such as the Clinical Board of Directors. These senior providers give guidance and advice to Smile Brands support service employees and affiliated dental offices. The Clinical Board focuses on selecting and recommending the best dental formulary for the dental offices, including supplies and equipment, clinical protocols and new treatment options. Locally the Market Dental Directors, Market Hygiene Coordinators and Lead Dentists are available to mentor and support you during your career, giving you a chance to connect with other providers to share ideas, perspectives and treatment methods. It is a great environment, whether you’re new and seeking guidance, or a seasoned professional looking to share your expertise.

Office Manager

Play a major role in overseeing the daily operations of the dental office. By managing employee relations, patient relations, and achieving operational goals, office managers ensure that everyone leaves with a smile at the end of each day. O.M.'s are also responsible for operational components of the company’s vision of Smiles for Everyone!, including but not limited to the First Impressions Checklist and our G3 Service Platform: Greeting, Guiding and Gratitude. By managing all of these items together, office managers ensure that providers are able to focus on practicing top notch dentistry and office staff are able to efficiently support each office efficiently.

To contribute to the team successfully, office team members maintain a positive team spirit under any circumstance. Patient Advocacy

With Smile Brands’ business model, affiliated dental offices are able to offer patients quality dental care at an affordable price, and do so while keeping each patient’s best interest top of mind. At Smile Brands, employees and affiliated dental providers are “Patient Advocates.” This means considering all of a patient’s needs and, with transparency, offering the kind of treatment they'd want their own family to receive. Patient Advocacy means educating patients on their options so they can make informed decisions about their dental treatment and choose the one that works for their budget and lifestyle.

Our Patient Promise

Smiles for Everyone Foundation

Is a not-for-profit foundation that began in 2004 with a vision to improve the lives of people in the communities served by Smile Brands affiliated offices, as well as to aid victims of natural disasters. Through the generosity of employees, affiliated dental professionals, and company matching funds, the Smiles for Everyone Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to aid the victims of the Haiti Earthquake, Asian tsunami disaster and Hurricane Katrina.

But the financial support reaches beyond such large scale and notable causes; it also touches individuals in the local communities. In 2005, the American Red Cross recognized the Smiles for Everyone Foundation for its far-reaching humanitarian efforts, bestowing upon the Foundation the prestigious Circle of Humanitarians Award.

Mission Trip to Paraguay

Bright Now! Dental Commits to Bringing Smiles to the World. A team of doctors from Bright Now Dental’s parent company, Smile Brands Inc., recently returned from a mission trip to Asunción, Paraguay in December, 2011. Led by President and CEO Steve Bilt, the executives and dentists spent 8 days visiting orphanages and nutrition centers, bringing critical dental care to residents who otherwise have no access to basic health services.

Nicknamed SEAL Team One (Service Expedition Accelerating Leaders), the group performed over one thousand extractions and restorations, ultimately helping over 300 Paraguayan children in desperate need of care. Smile Brands Inc. and the Smiles for Everyone Foundation are planning two additional mission trips in 2012, to be announced in the coming months.
