    Pros

Progressive, International IT Integration Company with highly qualified leadership. Management stayed informed of all elements important to retaining product mix and clients during a difficult shift in economic profile. Employed stable, highly qualified consultants. Provided good company benefits and reasonable hours of operation.

    Cons

Company profile was dependent on strong financial standing; 2007-2008 U S suffered major financial hits, closing down several of our Fortune 500 clients. Decision was made to cut the overhead effective January 3, 2008.

    Advice to Management

Communicate Company Mission Statement, such that the team you build have a strong sense of ownership to the successful goals of the company and responsibility for the value they bring to the team and task.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at Bristlecone (Austin, TX).

    Interview

Initial interview with C.E.O. confirmed that I was a fit for the company's need for a manager as this international business was establishing their presence in the U.S. He advised that the CFO would call me with salary information and more details of status of completing the opening of the office and arrival of consultants and other management personnel arrival. The CFO called and we negotiated salary and benefits. Several options were reviewed and finalized Dec. 8, 2000.
