    Pros

    Brunswick operates as a professional services firm, rather than a PR agency. A relentess focus on delivering quality advice to clients makes Brunswick a special place to work. Employees are proud to call themselves Brunswickians, and follow the 'work hard, play hard' mantra. Leadership across the world cares immensely about the culture and works hard to preserve it. Standards are very high globally and a lot of attention is paid to recruitment, with cultural fit being as important as skills and experience. Very collaborative and collegiate environment - any rare folks who don't fit this mold don't tend to last long. The 'one-firm-firm' ethos makes it much more fun to work across borders and along with the partnership structure sets Brunswick apart from larger, publicly-owned firms. Brunswick really does play at the highest level of corporate engagement, focused on business critical issues, and isn't afraid to turn down engagements that don't fit with that model or that the firm wouldn't be proud to work on. Working at Brunswick means you build a terrific network of interesting and influentual contacts through clients, advisors, the media, and especially the notoriously fun Brunswick events. I would not work at any other agency.

    Cons

    Demanding expections of working hours and 24 hour connectivity - but that's what comes with working on such high-profile mandates. Some growing pains as Brunswick increases in size globally and tries to maintain culture and feel, as you'd expect from any professional services firm.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Brunswick Group.

    Interview Details

    Asked to do a writing test, had to email after a couple weeks of not hearing back. Then they apologized for not responding and asked to set up a skype interview. Interviewed with 3 different people, standard questions. Never heard back.
