    I worked at Buckeye International, Inc. full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    The job provides great outside selling and relationship building opportunities. The product lines are very impressive (especially the floor care and Symmetry hand hygiene lines). I liked that it was a combination of the products doing what I said they would and establishing relationships with customers to help build my territory.

    There are quality marketing tools, online training programs, and demonstrations for customers to help close deals. Full benefits and promoting from within were positives that helped me decide I wanted to work at Buckeye.

    Cons

    The company lacks a true Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program. This would help with transitions between sales reps and the sharing of reports among management.

    Gas reimbursement needs improvement.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Buckeye International, Inc. in December 2014.

    Interview Details

    Was first contacted by Buckeye's corporate office. I was given an overview of the company and the position, and their Sales Management Program. I then went in for an interview with the branch manager. The 2nd interview was a phone interview. About a week later, I received an offer from the branch manager and accepted the position.

    • I didn't think that there were any goofy or stupid interview questions. They were pretty fair. The 1st interview in person lasted about an hour and the phone interview lasted about 45 minutes.   View Answer
