I worked at CCA Industries full-time
most people are nice, good work/life balance, vibe is kind of like a family, you get to know everyone really well
unprofessional atmosphere, constantly in turmoil, upper management is out of touch and does not take suggestions from employees. Constantly looking over your shoulder the entire time to see if you'd be fired. Company shoddy in general. Not a positive experience.
Advice to Management
pay more attention to employee suggestions, be kinder to people, be more flexible. Make work more pleasant for your employees.

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at CCA Industries (East Rutherford, NJ) in February 2012.
Not very hands on. Easy interview, easy questions. Seemed like they were desperate to hire someone - I did get hired on the spot, and the interview was mostly just chatting with the CEO. I submitted my resume and was asked to come in for an interview - was hired immediately. Overall, I was kind of unimpressed, but I needed a job, so I accepted. It was concerning how few questions they asked about my resume, etc., or any harder questions.
