    I have been working at CDC (Hong Kong)


    - Exposure to multiple industries
    - Provides access to 'C' level executives
    - Frequent flier miles, free car rentals, and hotel points
    - Per diems allow for savings


    -Old software product
    -Slow product development cycle
    -Lack of structured implementation approach
    -No formal training; this is mostly done on the client's site
    -Poor usability of product
    -Low % of satisfied customers
    -Poor senior leadership
    -Too much focus on billable hours
    -Constant change in senior management
    -Very little interaction with senior management
    -No mentors for junior staff
    -Poor compensation
    -A lot of travel
    -Little or no performance feedback
    -Limited opportunities for career growth

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    -Focus on improving the usability aspect of the product
    -Focus on providing the client with true value rather than just 'making the sale'
    -Provide good training to employees, not only on the product but also on subjects like people management, leadership, etc
    -Create standard implementation methodology
