Requirements of the Career

To be qualified for the financial representative career, candidates must:

  • Be willing to obtain applicable state licensing for property/casualty insurance and life/health insurance as well as passing both a Series 6 and Series 63 Securities exam.
  • Be able to pass a sales assessment.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Financial sales experience is a plus.

 

Additional Perks:

We care about setting you up for success!  We offer our Insurance and Financial Sales Representatives a base salary for 3-5 years plus commission while you build your book of business.  In addition, we offer a compensation package including:

World-Class Travel and Events

Each year, our Financial Representatives and agency managers who excel are invited to participate in special incentive programs. Recent trips took top producers to New York City, Ireland, Hawaii and Rome.

Events include an annual sales convention and other regional activities where our financial representatives enjoy being recognized for their hard work.

Training Bonus

New Financial Representatives receive a bonus upon completing the COUNTRY Agency Learning program.

Designation Bonus

A bonus will be paid to Financial Representatives when earning certain professional designation including the ChFC, CFP, CLU, CPCU, and CIC.

Generous Benefit Options

For new financial representatives, we provide comprehensive health and dental coverage with low-pay premiums. Additional benefits include group life insurance and long term disability insurance. Our long-term financial representatives can also receive retirement income based on sales productivity.

Compensation

The compensation package we offer is unlike any other opportunity in the industry for three reasons:

1. We do not require a large investment up front.

Licensing and exam fees are the only initial out-of-pocket expenses and can range from $1,000 to $1,300 depending on your state of residence. This includes your property / casualty and life / health state insurance licenses as well as your Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.

2. We provide a competitive base salary.

The base salary is offered for the first three to five years of employment and increases (or decreases) each month based on your productivity.

3. We provide commissions on every line of business sold.

Up to the first five years of employment you will only receive first-time commissions, as renewal commissions are replaced by your base salary. After the first three to five years, the renewal income you’ve worked hard to build will be large enough to replace your salary and support the operations of your business.

Why this approach? We offer this level of compensation simply because we want to set you up for success.
