I have been working at CSG (Conservation Services Group) full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Working at CSG has been a great opportunity to grow professionally in a variety of capacities. There are ample opportunities for ambitious employees to participate in projects outside one's primary job to gain new experiences. If you're open with management about your interests and demonstrate your abilities, you can really get a lot out of working here.

    Cons

Work-life balance is difficult for key employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management is often insulated by layers of management filtering information. Some of the best insight can be gained by simply walking around peoples' desks and chatting a few minutes a week.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 4+ monthsinterviewed at CSG (Conservation Services Group).

    Interview Details

I Interviewed with 10 different people during 3 different visits and several phone calls. Most were kind and professional. I was told several times by the VP of Marketing that I was the top candidate and they were close to a decision. A month later she asked for references which I had already supplied with both my resume and application. This was the type of experience where the longer it took, the less i wanted the position. In the end, after 4 months in total, I was told in a 2 line email that they were offering the job to someone else. When I politely asked for feedback, she didn't bother to respond.
