I worked at CSI Engineering PC full-timePros
-Has variety of projects from variety of speciality and gain lot of experience.
-Pushes you to the edgeCons
-President and CEO of this company is VERY NICE but has tendency to bother engineers or employees who are doing work by actually calling meetings every half hour. President and CEO will not let you work on design during office hours and will keep soo busy on his agenda that you will put extra hours weekends and long weekday hours leaving you exhausted if you work at its headquaters. He will exhaust you to death on mindless things and will not let you focus on projects leaving employees exhausted tired and which reflects the work . If he had only stopped doing that I would have been there working for this company. I became soo exhausted since he just won't let me work on projects during office hours and had to put too much overtime that it started to affect my health and it took two months to recover.
-President and CEO does not respect employees and compares them with 12+ experienced employees
-President and CEO is sort of arrogant in that he claims to credit another people's work and although people worked for his company that knowledge was not his it came from other people. Acknowledge that fact. People made your company those people left but they made your company. It was not your
knowledge.Advice to ManagementAdvice
-President CEO stop bothering engineers leave them alone so they can make money for you and do quailty work which can actually bring more contracts.
-President CEO come down from your ivory tower you have to leave people alone trust in them stop bothering bullying them so that they can help you. World is not against you but you out of your own personality suffer at the stage you are at.
-President CEO stop crushing your employees you overwork them with little pay and do not leave any room for innovation by calling meetings and bother them. Have meeting once a week and thats it not every half hour. You have created a circus not a place of work.
Let your engineers work eight hours without bothering them and let them have weekends off because they to have life outside your company. You are the President CEO you run the company do not torture/suffer your employees. Knowledge and contracts come when your employees are not exhausted doing great quailty work and you reward them appropriately.
-Respect your employees and do not compare one another everybody has weakness and strength in conference room open in public to company's employees. Especially do not compare 12+ experienced employees to 3 years experienced employee. That is just rude you are not motivating anyone by doing that. It takes time for people to get their and give people room and time before comparing.
-President CEO do not be arrogant, jerk, take advantage and bully your employees. You think you are motivating but in reality you are doing opposite. Look at the turnover you have it is not that employees are not capable of doing work.
-President CEO when an employee leaves do not overlook and say oh it is his fault. Employees do not want to leave a company and certainly they do not want to go elsewhere if they do not have to. Look in the mirror and say what did I do wrong and how I can change that and enforce that rule for yourself.
-Most importantly do not for one second think oh that employees needs to work for me because he is in a situation that he has to so I can treat him/her the way I want to and still get away with it and I can take advantage of that employee.
