Our Businesses

At CVS Health, we unify the strengths of three best-in-class areas of practice--retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management and medical clinic--in an integrated pharmacy care model that delivers innovation with a purpose. Leveraging our unique assets, we provide patients with a seamless health care experience. We never stop challenging ourselves to find better ways to meet the needs of our patients. CVS Health’s diversity story is a rich one. It’s one in which our diverse workforce shows a relentless commitment every day to helping an equally diverse population of customers, patients and clients.

It’s just one of the reasons why CVS Health is a new kind of health care company. What we do as a company is unique. No other company is reinventing pharmacy quite like we are. We are simply not like the others.

And our employees are why.

Like CVS Health, they’re unique. They’ve got all kinds of opinions and lots of different ways of getting the job done. And we like it that way. In fact, we encourage it. Here people come as they are. Every day, to our retail stores and distribution facilities, to our corporate offices and our health clinics, they bring an endless expanse of talents and experiences, creating a pharmacy innovation company founded on the collective greatness our differences deliver.

We celebrate differences in age, gender, family status, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, appearance, thought and mannerisms. But our commitment to diversity is never relegated to the fine print. We display it proudly, and believe a better, more innovative company is only possible when the power of our differences is unleashed and lived, day in and day out.

We may have one name, but there is no single face of CVS Health. Our 200,000 employees touch the lives of millions of Americans in many different ways. There is, however, a singular focus, something we all share: a commitment to make health care better for everyone.

Former Employee - Shift Supervisor in Auburn, MA

I worked at CVS Health part-time (less than an year)

The location that I worked at had a great sense of team, everyone worked really well together. The pay was competitive and there were a lot of promises to advance quickly into the management of the store.

Management assumed that everyone understood the basics of CVS methods, even though it was never covered in the training. And the biggest problem was that the weekly schedule was only available four days before the week began and the only copy was printed at the store. I couldn't drive to the store every week just to find out what I would be working in a few days.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers need to make sure that the workers are able to learn the basics.
Update your company so that the schedule can be available online. In a society where you can pay your bills with a mobile phone, you should be able to see a work schedule online.

    Application Details

I applied through college or university – interviewed at CVS Health.

    Interview Details

The interview was set up through my school with a bunch of other companies present. They made you fill out their application ahead of time. I only had the one interview, but I heard they called some people back for a second interview too. I interviewed with two people. I received an offer the next day, but some people still haven't heard anything (2.5 weeks later) and some people got an email stating that they think other candidates are better suited for the position. The offer includes your salary and other benefits, but they don't tell you the exact location that they want you to work. They also give you 30 days to respond to the offer. They were very friendly and the interview wasn't really intimidating at all. There were a few times where I forgot a word that I wanted to say and they helped me out without a problem.

    Interview Questions
    • Nothing really unexpected. The standard tell me about yourself of course and some other standard ones. There were a lot of scenario questions on how would you improve your business essentially. The most unexpected was along the lines of tell me about a time you had to adhere to/manage a budget, but other than that I feel like the questions weren't too unexpected.   Answer Question
