Benefits (although slowly eroding) / Fair Employment Practices / Healthy Financials. Despite the cons, this is a good company to work for if you understand the culture and can get along.
Creativity, risk taking generally not rewarded. Some managers have spent entire careers at Canon limiting their market perspective and willingness to "rock the boat." Many employees have difficulty advancing in their careers, feel under appreciated and become stale.
Advice to Management
Tap the knowledge of non-management staff and include them in product and operations planning to a greater extent than currently used. Develop a rapid response, "intrapreneurial" ethic; move more quickly in operational and product updates, learn from failure and adapt. Be less secretive, more inclusive and trust your loyal staff.

I applied online – interviewed at Canon USA (Melville, NY) in June 2015.
Spoke on the phone to an HR rep a week after applying to the position to set up an in-office interview. Went to the office and spoke with two managers.
- Basic interview questions. "Tell me about yourself", "What are your strengths and weaknesses?", etc. Answer Question
