    Mind-expanding!

    Former Intern - Research Intern
    Former Intern - Research Intern

I worked at Carnegie Endowment for Intl. Peace as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

As a part-time research intern on a special project, I didn't have much interaction with the culture or staff outside of my Fellow. However, the Fellow not only provided great feedback on what I was doing right and wrong in helping him with his research, he also went the extra mile to help me in my job search.

    Cons

Not much to say in terms of cons.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at Carnegie Endowment for Intl. Peace in June 2013.

    Interview Details

Applied via standard email, went through HR assistant and was eventually brought in for an in person interview. The interview was with IT Director, Network Admin, and AV Tech. The interview as casual with several low level IT questions. Focus seemed to be on getting a good fit with a base level of IT knowledge. After this I was called back to briefly meet with the IT Director and the head of HR. Offer letter was a few days later.
