I worked at Castilian Trading full-time
The dress code was casual and the management are all extremely friendly and easy to talk to. The small office environment gave the company more of a family feeling.
As a small company, you end up working on tasks that may be wholly out of your job description -- and they won't compensate you any extra for it. I worked in the accounting dept. and regularly had to help with customer service, sales, IT, and even design. Also, there was no benefits package whatsoever, other than standard PTO. Very high turnover rate while I was employed there.
Advice to Management
Don't be stingy with your employees: Pay them for the actual amount of work they perform or else don't expect them to take on a workload of someone who should be getting paid 2-3 times as much. They will get overworked and quit without proper incentives.
