I worked at Caterpillar full-time (More than a year)
Good work, great opportunities - even to travel, Competitive pay, excellent benefits, possibilities for educational development and incredible work life balance
Due to the nature of the business there are down times (sometimes more often than one would be comfortable) this may lead to time of without pays (temporary layoffs) and lower bonuses.
Advice to Management
the department I've worked in had an excellent management team. However I would recommend the management to include some team activities and work on improving on the culture (there is great diversity but few activities outside work)
