    Pros

Great people to work with, exciting large and high profile events and the ability to have time to focus on life outside of work and family.

    Cons

Great but costly health insurance. Also there is not much turnover in management positions to provide steady advancement within a single property.

    Advice to Management

Keeping superstar staff is a difficult task. In the management areas there are not as much employee recognition so there is sometimes a feeling of under appreciation

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Centerplate (Greenville, SC) in June 2015.

    Interview

Part 1: Pre-Screen/1st Interview with HR Manager; Part 2: Face to face interview with HR Manage and Talent Acquisitions Manager. Part 3: Interview with VP of HR. Part 4: Was computer test covering Intermediate and Advanced excel and Power Point Skills.

Part 1 was simple. I received a phone call which initially supposed to be the pre-screen and turned into my first interview. It was very candid, informative and good.

Part 2 was at the Greenville corporate location. Everyone was very nice. Both the interviewers and myself briefly explained our experience and and what the company was about. I detailed some of the items I like about the company. (Do your research. There is alot of info on YouTube.) Then the formal interview questions were asked.

Part 3 was tagged onto Part 2. After waiting a few minutes I was asked to meet with the VP of HR then instead of returning later. He was very personable and approachable. He discussed his history and role in the company. I told him about myself and told me more details about Centerplate Greenville, UK and DC.

Part 4 was a skills test taken at Office Team/Robert Half, Downtown Greenville.
