    I worked at Champps Americana full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Competitive wages, accommodating schedule, good sense of team work, good employees are valued and are given the "good" shifts to hopefully make the most money.

    Cons

    The restaurant isn't designed for efficiency. Servers have to continuously make trips to "the line" for delivering food to all tables, not just their own. They do not have any busing stations in the restaurant, so every item picked up from a table has to be returned to the kitchen. You pick up one fork, you're making a trip into the kitchen.

    I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Champps Americana in August 2013.

    Interview Details

    The interview process has changed since Champp's went bankrupt for the second time and was bought by One Last Call (very ironic right?). I walked in and was hired on the spot now that their desperate since almost 20 servers, bartenders and hosts quit they at first did everything online. Now they have a computer set up with the General Manager desperately looking for anybody.
