In the Danbury Office, truly there were no "i" in this team. A true "team" we were. Eventhough we worked very long and hard to keep our customers happy with a superior product, it was a plesaure to come in every day and work..
The only down side was that some how they didn't need the Danbury Office anymore and there were no openings in the other 2 offices. I never thought I would have to stop working for them.
Advice to Management
This was devistating to all of us. Perhaps before closing the Danbury Office you could have come to us for ideas on cut backs. We had a lot of them, but it was too late. We didn't know it was needed. Speaking for myself, i feel you didn't even care to ask. Too bad. I was so dedicated to my job (just short of 13 years) because I loved what I was doing. You have no idea how many hours we put in to sever our customers without a thought of extra pay, because the customer came first. We were the best 'team' working to give the best product to our customers and on time. I wish there were more companies like this, but there on none in CT. You lost a great 'team'. Don't get my wrong on this, i'm not mad or angry. I'm dissapointed that such a hugh company would closed an office when that office was so, so busy at the time the doors were closed. I wish the best for Chicago Title Insurance Company and all its employees.
