I have been working at Childcare Network part-time (more than 5 years)

Some of the best reasons of working here is, that I meet new people all the time, I spend time with a lot of children, and I love the attachment/bond that I have developed with the children.

The downsides of working here are rare, because the people that I work with are respectful, nice and have great potential and that's something I enjoy being around, its my motivation to reach my future goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice is pretty much the same for anyone, and that is to trust yourself with the decisions you make, and that in order to receive respect you have to give it.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at Childcare Network in October 2014.

    Interview Details

Director called me on the phone to set up interview 1:1. When I got there I spoke with the assistant director for about 30 min. where she asked me a list of questions she printed out that apparently they had to ask. Then I went to meet with the manager who seemed very blunt with me. She acted put out when I told her I had plans to have my two children in the center with me. She said she may not be able to give me a discount, she only had a certain number to give out and that she had no place for my older son. She then put me in the classroom they wanted me to join and left. I said "The babies are so cute" Got the reply "Yeah, they look cute now!" Nobody seemed to enjoy their job and their hours.

    Interview Questions
    • She tried to give me a scenario, which I know I answered correctly, but she was certain I had no clue what I was getting into and wanted to stress how hard this job would be.   Answer Question
