Careers at Citizens Financial Group:

Company Mission

Our accomplishments can certainly be attributed to smart business strategy and organic growth, but we also believe in something special: Our Credo. We often refer to the trilogy of Customers, Colleagues and Community as the “Three Cs”:

  • Customers: We work for them. If they like us, if they trust us, if they believe in us, if they think we are a good bank and a trusted advisor, we all grow and prosper.
  • Colleagues: We want to be a rewarding place to work. We believe a highly engaged, diverse team of colleagues will deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
  • Community: When the community prospers, we all prosper. We invest in places and people we know. We give back. We encourage community involvement and volunteerism.

We embody our Credo in all that we do. Every day, we’re expected to be honest and ethical, to make a difference and to deliver "Wow" customer service.

Company Involvement

From the way we do business to the way we give back, we’re dedicated to being a good corporate citizen. In 2010 alone, we donated more than $18 million to charities and community sponsorships to support more than 2,000 nonprofit organizations. Year after year, we take pride in investing in a variety of efforts, including:

A faith-based organization founded to help respond to the violence and poverty that plagues the Hispanic community of North Philadelphia.

Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (MA)

Through education, economic development, technology and arts programming, this program helps build safe, vibrant and affordable housing communities.

Who We Are

Mark Law

SVP-Business Architect

Employee Since 2010

"At Citizens, every day is different--and exciting. In my work with the Commercial Lending Program, I help analyze complex issues that bridge the business and technical functions of our organization. But maybe more importantly, I'm empowered to make positive change.

Before joining Citizens full time, I was a management consultant for the bank, so I already knew about the culture here. It's been great to have such a positive work environment and talented colleagues. I enjoy working at Citizens, and I appreciate being rewarded for my hard work and success.

Shelbe Ring

Sr. Project Manager Assistant

Employee Since 2011

"I provide my clients a clear understanding of their project financials, eliminating worry about day-to-day finance activities and freeing them up to focus on other aspects of their work.

One of the reasons I enjoy what I do is the support I get from the organization. At Citizens, there's an emphasis on training and developing every employee. In my time here, I've been able to take the PMP Certificate Program, and now I'm preparing to sit for my PMP. And having this kind of support is especially valuable at Citizens, because this is a place where progression through the ranks is almost endless. I'm encouraged to realize all my potential, both to benefit the organization and to achieve my own career goals."

    Interview Details

The easiest way to get hired is by applying through a staffing agency. The process from application to start date is about one and a half month. The staffing agency will contact and inform you of when to go for your interview at the contact center. My interview was done with two people. One asked the questions and the other took note of what I said. They asked a lot of questions but all of the questions were regular interview questions. No oddball or unexpected questions. Be prepared to give an example of a difficult situation at work.

    Interview Questions
    • The most difficult question was giving an example of a challenging experience at my previous employment and how I handled it.   Answer Question
