    Pros

Best job for students. Pay for Swim instructor was just over 15$/hr depending on the district. Lots of fun people from diverse backrounds. Nice to spend time outside in the sun and earn money for it.

    Cons

Not much career chance in Aquatics. After a few years with seniority you can pick shifts, but not much else. Some supervisors are too strict and ruin the experience. Some pools water is too cold and make instructing for many hours difficult because you have to be in the water with all the lower levels

    Advice to Management

Improve organization of the staff trainings to reduce the volume. Budget money needs to be allocated more evenly for maintenance in neglected facilities, not just for visible areas.
