-Clariant had good pay and there was plenty of overtime for anyone who wanted it.
-Benefits were also good, with a nice company match on a 401k
It was not a big plant site, so there was not a lot of room for improvement at this particular site. Clariant did have multiple plants across North America though.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work, but give employees a little more flexibility with how vacation can be used and with what type of rotating shift they would like to be on.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks – interviewed at Clariant (North Carolina) (The Woodlands, TX) in September 2014.
I worked with a contractor for this position. I submitted my application and was notified that they were interested in an in-person interview, and I would be meeting with two people. I was interviewed by two people asking fairly generic questions, such as to explain various things on my resume as well as to give varying numbers of strengths and weaknesses.

Yes, I was able to negotiate due to having multiple offers. My suggestion is to be firm but polite when asking, and be confident that your time is worth the money.
