CohnReznick – Why Work For Us?

CohnReznick is ranked among the top 20 accounting firms in the United States, providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to clients nationwide. Well-known for our depth of knowledge in the affordable housing and commercial real estate industries, we continue to expand our focus. Today, we provide a range of services to a variety of industries that include construction, government, financial services, manufacturing and distribution, nonprofits, renewable energy and technology.

CohnReznick provides a high level of industry experience in helping our clients gauge business trends and seize upon new opportunities while managing risk. We offer the resources of a large national accounting firm but maintain an enterprising approach that provides us the flexibility to proactively meet our clients’ needs in ever-changing economic climates.

Our commitment to industry knowledge and experience has helped our clients succeed for more than three decades.

Insight. Judgment. Context. These are qualities that talented executives develop over time. The institutional knowledge of how industries operate and human nature works can only be acquired by years of experiences working on the toughest problems. When this level of experience combines with a passion for excellence – and intolerance for mediocrity – a special kind of executive is formed. At Reznick Group, we have just the place for these people.

CohnReznick is comprised of a team of leaders who understand what’s needed to manage both risk and opportunity. We seek dedicated, intrepid executives who want to build an organization by meeting complex challenges one client at a time. This is how we have created a national firm that has grown into one of the top 20 accounting firms in the country. Our work is exciting and requires fast responses, innovative approaches and the ability to lead an engagement with integrity, ingenuity and intelligence.

Tired of taking tests? Sick of being broke? Ready to get out and make it on your own? A career in professional accounting services has never been more exciting or full of possibilities. CohnReznick, one of the top 20 accounting firms in the U.S., visits campuses across the country each year looking for bright, energetic interns and entry level associates to join our team.

Our campus recruiting efforts focus in two key areas:

Interns – No gophers here! Our interns gain hands-on experience in a real world setting. You’ll do real work on real engagements. And you’ll get real client experience in growing industries like renewable energy, real estate and nonprofits.

Entry Level Associates – Get ready to start climbing the ladder and don’t look down! Call us driven, but we manage to the ideal that the best people like to get started, get ahead and get to the top as quickly as they can. That’s why we spend a lot of time helping them get there. Example: Our Leadership Development at CohnReznick(LDR) program teaches the critical skills our people need to master so they can take their careers where they want to go. At CohnReznick, There’s no waiting around for slots to open or ceilings to shatter.

Our benefits package includes robust and highly competitive health and welfare programs. In addition, we offer:

For many years, women have made up the majority of accountants in the United States. That means that if you are committed to building one of the best accounting firms in the country, you must also be committed to attracting, retaining, and advancing the best women in our industry. And at CohnReznick, we are.

Actively recruiting women at both the entry-level and experienced professional levels is just the beginning. We invest in their long-term development through our Professional Women's Program. This program provides access to mentors, roundtable discussions with firm partners, leadership development courses and other professional growth opportunities that help keep CohnReznick women on the partner track. We also provide networking opportunities by hosting events for women in the business community.

As a result of our efforts, we’ve been recognized for the work environment we provide to women, including “Best Accounting Firms for Women" by the American Society of Women Accountants and the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants in 2011 and 2012. We will continue to stay focused on empowering women, which ultimately improves the quality of the firm and the value we bring to our clients.

At CohnReznick, we know that promoting a diverse environment isn't just the right thing to do—it makes us better at what we do.

Professionals from different backgrounds and perspectives come to CohnReznick because they know their contributions will be a welcomed part of our community. Together, we are moving forward to meet client challenges, grow our firm and learn from each other.

On campus hiring. Applied through my school's job bank and had an on-campus interview several weeks later. Met with a greeter (2nd year audit associate), who was very friendly. The interview, with the Audit Manager, was more like a conversation.
