I worked at Colonial BancGroup full-time for more than 5 years

The company was good when it was in existince...a few greedy people made some bad decisions that led to its collapse. Was a fun place to work.

There was little room for growth, the company did grow into some successful areas in Florida and really helped the BB&T franchise. It should have slowed growth

    Negotiation Details
Not much negotiation. I would advise others to meet with branch manager and inquire about turnover. That would be standard for any bank you interview with. Most important is that you click with the people you work alongside with like tellers, branch manager, and new accounts reps given those are the folks who refer business to you.
